Minnescoops
Your Yard. Your Dog. Your Questions.
How Do You Ensure Dog Safety?
At Minnescoops, your dog’s safety is our top priority. We never enter your yard without first checking that it’s secure and that any dogs are properly contained. If your dog is outside during service, we work calmly and respectfully to avoid stress or disruption. We do not feed, pet, or interact with your dog unless instructed. Our team is trained to close all gates securely and double-check before leaving. You can count on us to treat your yard—and your pets—with the same care we would our own.
How Do You Dispose of Pet Waste?
In Minnesota, pet waste is classified as hazardous material and must be disposed of properly. To comply with state guidelines, we securely double-bag all waste and place it in your designated outdoor garbage bin. This ensures safe, sanitary handling without adding risk to the environment or waste system. We never leave loose bags behind, and your yard stays clean, compliant, and odor-free.
Can You Clean With Dogs in the Yard?
Yes, we can clean with your dog in the yard—as long as they’re friendly and non-aggressive. Many of our clients’ dogs are curious but calm, and we’re happy to work around them. However, if your dog is protective, anxious, or prone to escaping, we recommend keeping them indoors during service for everyone’s safety. If you’re unsure, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll find the best solution.
Does Minnescoops Clean the Entire Yard?
Yes—Minnescoops thoroughly cleans all accessible areas of your yard where dogs do their business. We follow your property layout and check common spots like grass, mulch, gravel, and even snow-covered areas in winter. If part of your yard is locked, gated, or restricted, just let us know so we can include it. Our goal is to leave no waste behind.
Do You Provide This Service All Year Round?
Yes—Minnescoops operates year-round, even through Minnesota’s harsh winters. Snow, cold, and changing seasons don’t stop us from keeping your yard clean. During heavy snowfalls, we do our best to locate and remove waste in visible or frequently used areas, and we catch up fully once the snow melts. No matter the season, we’re here to keep your yard poop-free.
How Much Does the Service Cost?
Our pricing depends on the number of dogs and how often you want service, but most weekly plans start around $21.99/week for one dog. For multiple dogs, larger yards, or one-time cleanups, rates will vary. We keep our pricing simple and competitive—with no hidden fees. Get a free quote and we can tailor it specifically to you.
I don't See My Area Available - Will You Expand Your Locations?
We’re growing fast and always looking to scoop in new areas! If your neighborhood isn’t listed yet, let us know—your interest helps us decide where to expand next. In the meantime, we may be able to accommodate you depending on your location. Reach out, and we’ll do our best to make it work!
How Often Do You Clean the Yard?
Most of our customers choose weekly cleanups, which strike the perfect balance between convenience and yard cleanliness. We also offer twice-weekly, semi-weekly and one-time cleanups depending on your needs, number of dogs, and how often they go outside. You can adjust your schedule anytime—just let us know what works best for you!
Do I Need to Be Home During the Cleanup?
Nope! You don’t need to be home during service. As long as we have access to your yard—like an unlocked gate—we’ll handle everything and leave it spotless. If there are any special instructions (like a lock code or pet info), just let us know. You’ll get reliable service whether you’re home or not.
Can I Skip or Pause Services?
Absolutely. Life happens, and we make it easy to skip a visit or pause your service—whether you’re going on vacation or just need a break. Just give us a heads-up at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust the schedule. You’re never locked into a long-term contract, and you can resume service anytime.
